If you are not yet a member, consider joining for the many benefits we offer. ISHP Annual Fall Meeting Thank you to everyone who attended the ISHP Annual Spring Conference in March. Save the date for our Fall Meeting October 8-10, 2021 in Sun Valley. We are planning for an in-person event while continuing to monitor the situation with COVID-19. I-LEAD is an Idaho based Certificate Program in Organizational Leadership. It is made up of practicing Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians across Idaho. The goal of the program is to provide a cost-effective training and programming for pharmacy staff expressing interest in growing as a leader within their organization, career and within ISHP. The benefit of partnering with ISHP is the ability to pair up I-LEAD fellows with ISHP and Idaho Pharmacy Leaders, facilitating mentoring and guidance. I-LEAD has also partnered with Idaho State University, Boise State, and the University of Wyoming, allowing graduates to receive graduate course credit towards an MBA, MHA or MS-HCA. Application page for 2020 - 2021 Cohort ISHP - Accredited ACPE CE Provider I SHP strives to meet the education needs of Idaho Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians by being one of two Idaho based ACPE accredited CE providers. To help track the CE's provided and to allow easy access to certificates, ISHP has partnered with the World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA). ISHP now uses WCEA for our annual fall and spring conferences in addition to many other CE programs produced locally throughout the year. If you are new to WCEA please register for WCEA here . ISHP/ASHP PAI 2030 The ISHP/ASHP Pharmacy Practice Advancement Initiative continues to move forward. Work groups focusing on Ambulatory Care Best Practice and pulling together pharmacists from across Idaho are steadily gaining momentum and are helping to lend support to pharmacy practice across the state. What is PAI? ISHP is working with Pharmacy Ambulatory Care Leaders from Across the state to help join efforts in overcoming barriers and identifying ways to advance pharmacy practice and improve patient care.
